Your people are your brand

WPR provided PR services for Pic’s Peanut Butter for nine years working with the brand prior to it being ranged on New Zealand supermarket shelves through to the product being sold in multiple markets around the world. In addition to supporting raising brand awareness and activating many new products (including glass tumblers, tea towels and peanut butter ‘slugs’) WPR provided a regular culture review for the business. This involved a one-on-one conversation with every member of the Pic’s Peanut Butter team to take the pulse of the business, listen to suggestions for improvement raised by the team, and to support the ongoing growth and development of a healthy workplace culture. Pic’s Peanut Butter committed to this process because it realised that the sustainability of its business relied on how it treated the people working within it.

Jacquie offered me her services some six years ago. I was very sceptical about public relations consultants at that time, but Jacquie proved her worth very quickly. I have since had the privilege of recommending her service to other business owners and earned their undying gratitude.

At Jacquie’s suggestion, we engaged her for an in-house communications review which we now run annually. This is one of the most valuable engagement programmes we have ever run and something I would highly recommend to any other business owner.

Jacquie’s respect for her contacts in the media and understanding of their needs ensures any work she does is properly targeted and no effort is wasted on promotions that have little chance of success.
